EDITORIAL POLICY

Restrictions: Flamenco Arts International is incorporated as a nonprofit in California, and by law is forbidden from “the carrying on of propaganda or otherwise attempting to influence legislation,” and from participating in or intervening in “any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidates for public office.”

Opinion: In the interest of broadening the scope and increasing the quality of public discourse, our collaborators – including artists, writers, dancers, musicians, and scholars– will express opinions, but this is not to be construed as written or implied sponsorship or endorsement of such opinion by Flamenco Arts International.

Autonomy: We do exercise editorial discretion, but are dedicated to the creative autonomy of individual contributors and organizations that are part of the Flamenco Arts International community.

Standards: We will hold our partners to the highest editorial and creative standards, and expect them to demand the same of us. In the instance of dissonance, Flamenco Arts International will honor existing commitments before re-evaluating long term support.

We affirm and support the Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists.
